  1. Hi Tom,
I’m writing an article about the Banff Film Fest for the UK press and would love to make Wide Boyz a focus of the piece. Any chance you or Pete would be free to offer some quotes?
    Many thanks,
    Lucy

  2. Hi Tom,

Just wondering if you could help me re. training for aerobic and anaerobic power. I am pretty sure I understand the training for ancap and aeropow, but am struggling to understand the powers. Could email you what I understand so far so hopefully you could answer my questions.

    Tom

  3. Hey Tom, I have some questions regarding board sizes and such for building a crack machine in my shed. I was wondering if I may pick your brain on things you did that seemed to work in your cellar? Cheers.

  4. Like Casey, I’d like a quick help on the width of your century simulator. In metric or imperial, how wide do you think is ideal? If you can email me i won’t bug you again, thanks!

    • Sorry, I’ve been slow at replying to these requests! I think the best is 13cm for Century Crack. You also want to make something that is double fist size – whatever your size is. Best of luck – let me know how you get on!

  5. Hey Tom,
No worries on your time constraints. I am sure you are ridiculously busy with new projects and such. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am working on the 13cm and a double fist size as well. Any input on your “Hastonator”? I am guessing with the chicken wing, it needs to be around 30-45 cm or so? I’ll let you know how this goes when I get it built up. The goal is for “Trench Warfare” in the spring.

  6. Hello Tom,
Just a quick note to say thank you for your advice at the crack climbing thing you did down at Boulders in Cardiff. It made a lot more sense being able to apply it as it was explained. Alison and myself had a great time and laughed trying to apply it all in Pembroke that afternoon and Sunday.
Hope the evening talk was well attended and went well. Wishing you and Pete all the best in the future, and look forward to watching part two.

    Regards Ken.

  7. Hi Tom,
could you drop me a line about personal assessment/training/coaching some time. Many thanks and all the best for the coming year.
    John

  8. Hi Tom,

Really loved your wideboys movie. I am working on a project and really need to partner with a great coach. Please send me an email when you get a chance. Enjoy the start of gritstone season.

  9. Hi Tom, I come for about 15 years to my favourite place to climb: the peak district. But as I’m a old german guy I have nearly no possibility to train on cracks. That is my big weakness! As I want to climb better routes in grit and I looking forward for yosemite. I need to learn it now ;0)
Do you give training sessions in crack climbing? July, groups or personal?

  10. Money for old rope.. Hi Tom, i’m raising money for CAC by selling mats made from old climbing rope. Interest has been great so far but i reckon a celebrity rope would help me raise tons more. If you can help that would be amazing. Cheers, Pete.
PS. Sorry for posting in your coaching section but couldn’t see how else to get in touch.

  11. I would like to get in contact with you regarding a climbing festival in Norway. Send me an email and I will let you know what the the deal is:-)

  12. Hi, we met yesterday at Hen Cloud (“so u’re the fellow who climbs cracks?”). Would you also consider a 1- on-1 coaching day? I want to improve my climbing and might need your suggestions. Thanks in advance and keep the hard routes coming! A.

  13. Hi!
We met at the ballsack festival in Bø a couple of weeks ago. How do I get in contact with you regarding a training programme?
    Thanks, Daniel
